Keith Duffy’s daughter, who was diagnosed with autism at 18 months old, graduates from Uni

Keith Duffy and his wife are the “proudest parents in the world” after their daughter Mia graduated from Dublin University (DCU) this week.

Mia, daughter to former Boyzone star Keith, was diagnosed with autism at 18 months, and has graduated with an Honours degree in Enterprise Computing.

Duffy took to social media to say that the day marked “the biggest milestone ever” and encouraged his followers to “take the positive from this.” In the past, he’s been open about taking a sabbatical from his music career to travel to a specialist autism centre in the US to learn how to educate children on the autism spectrum through a form of education called ABA. ABA stands from applied behavioural analysis.
